Vaccinations are not required at House of Wheels. We are operating at below 1/3 of Fire Code Capacity.
Here are the details:
At House of Wheels, we take COVID-19 and the accompanying Alberta Government and City safety protocols seriously. Boiled down, we are operating as follows:
Our space is HUGE: 32,000 square feet. There is space for excellent, safe physical distancing.
1/3 of Fire Code capacity for House of Wheels is 67 people.
Current rider capacity limit is set to 35 people to allow "cushion" for staff, a few spectators, and in-store customers, while remaining below 1/3 of Fire Code capacity.
Therefore, we do not need to implement the Restriction Exemption program. We can operate safely at 1/3 of Fire Code capacity. We believe this makes House of Wheels accessible to all, regardless of vaccination status.
We have not had a positive case of COVID-19 traced to House of Wheels.
HOWEVER, we still ask all potential visitors to carefully monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. If you are sick, stay home! If you are well, and up for a great time of riding, in out of the cold and wind, you are welcome at House of Wheels.
All staff wear masks; extra cleaning protocols are in place. We follow all provincial and civic mask and distancing restrictions and bylaws.
